Mater Dei Primary School
This section is dedicated to my academic background.
A few words will be said about my education in primary school and high school. The main focus will be on the undergraduate and postgraduate studies section, where you can find details about the courses i took.
After moving from Turkey to Belgium at the age of 6, I began my primary education in Mater Dei, a francophone school in Brussels, Belgium. Although I couldn't speak french when i first began, I quickly adapted myself to this new environment and learned the language. I was always one of the best students in my class, and I skipped one year (I passed directly from the 4th year to the 6th year) because we had to return to Turkey.
Galatasaray High School is one of the most reputable schools in Turkey. The courses are held in french, mostly with french teachers. I completed the Mathematics-Science program among the top students with an average grade of 8.14 over 10. The high level of education and the vision that Galatasaray gave me helped me to become who I am today.
Galatasaray University bears the distinction of being the first university founded by international agreement between France and Turkey. I have completed the 4 year Computer Engineering program as the 2nd best student, with an average grade of 3.5 over 4.

During my university studies, I spent one semester as an Erasmus exchange program student in Lille, France with a scholarship. This experience was very important to me, as I had the opportunity to take different courses that were not included in my home university, compare myself and compete with my french colleagues.
“KTH is Scandinavia's largest institution of higher education in technology and one of the leading technical universities in Europe.” (source:wikipedia).
After completing my undergraduate studies in Turkey, I decided to go deeper in the field of IT security. Also, I wanted a new challenge in a new and different country and culture. That is why I chose to do my Master studies in Sweden, one of the most advanced countries in the IT world, where I completed the master program "Information and Communication Systems Security".
